Samsung recently launched a series of new phones, light and medium from the series Galaxy J, where revealed in the past few weeks the 2016 version of the Galaxy J2, J2 Max and J2 Pro.
Among the new software features that the company has focused on is the new Turbo Speed Technology feature, which was first available on the phones. Samsung said it has developed a technology that utilizes the average (1.5 or 2 GB) RAM available in new phones to deliver performance equivalent to You get it in a phone with more random memory.
According to the company, the Turbo Speed Technology (TST) is capable of loading applications at 40% faster than the speed of application loading in a phone that has twice as much RAM!
This is of course a bold claim from the company that should be tested well later. But to illustrate how TST works, Samsung released today the following video, which explains more about the technology:
In short, the company says that the technology works on seve
The technology is similar to that of "phone cleanup" applications, which stop applications running in the background after a period of non-use, but the difference is that this is done at a deep level in the operating system (kernel system) that traditional cleaning applications can not access.
Finally, the technology reorganizes the empty space in the random memory to improve multitasking and speed up applications.
We do not know if Samsung plans to provide this technology in its powerful phones too, but we will probably see it mostly in its weak and medium-sized phones with lower memory.
